We started Maison Toshi because we noticed something: Bitcoiners love their pets. Like… really love their pets.

From hardcore cypherpunks with giant huskies, to node runners with lapdogs and Telegram mods with cats named Sats—we all seem to be building this parallel world, and we’re bringing our four-legged friends with us.

But the world of pet products? It’s still stuck in fiat. Low-quality. Loud designs. Overpriced and underwhelming.

So we thought: why not build a pet line that matches the values of a Bitcoiner?

The name Maison Toshi is a nod to both the elegance of old-world designer houses and the disruptive spirit of new-world money. Maison (French for "house") evokes a sense of heritage, while Toshi grounds us in a future built on code, consensus, and cat cuddles.

And yes—our real-life Toshi, a regal ragdoll cat with a penchant for knocking over hardware wallets, was the muse for it all. His calm demeanor, expressive eyes, and deep, inexplicable understanding of time preference made him the perfect mascot for the brand.

He’s been with us through lightning wallet updates, conference prep marathons, and long nights of whitepaper reading. We figured if he could handle that, he deserved a collar worthy of a Bitcoiner.
